So it's that time of year again. Your child wants a fantastic birthday party with all their friends invited and you want to make it as special as you can for them....

There is no need to go mad when buying birthday party food, just try to make sure there is a variety to cater for all children. Try to buy generic flavours of food, for instance ready salted, prawn coctail and salt & vinegar crisps as opposed to cheese and chive or chili! The most important thing to remember is to try and make as much as possible bitesize so that children can pick and choose and dont leave mountains of hardly touched food on their party plates.

Party Bags

- A couple of party poppers or a whistle
